On January 15, 2025, the State Assets Management Agency convened a meeting with representatives of a delegation led by Baroness Arielle Malard de Rothschild, a member of the Supervisory Board of “Rothschild & Co”.
The Director of the State Assets Management Agency commenced the meeting by highlighting the successful privatization of “Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekistan”, a process in which “Rothschild & Co” served as a financial consultant. This transaction remains a landmark example of effective privatization in Uzbekistan. The Director expressed sincere gratitude for the professional services rendered by the foreign partners during this initiative.
During the discussions, the representatives of “Rothschild & Co.” were apprised of the achievements in privatization and state property management realized in recent years in Uzbekistan. They were also briefed on enhancements made to the legal framework governing this sector and informed about the promising plans for the future, including the development of a new privatization program.
Baroness Arielle Malard de Rothschild extended her congratulations to the State Assets Management Agency on the successful completion of the “People's IPO” program. She reaffirmed the readiness of “Rothschild & Co.” to contribute to the continued development and progress of New Uzbekistan.
The foreign delegation further shared their positive experiences in conducting privatization processes aligned with international standards across various countries.
