Regular Roadshow for entrepreneurs and businessman was held in Samarkand region

On 28 May this year the UzSAMA held another ‘Roadshow’ presentation in Samarkand region on state assets subject to privatisation, in particular, state shares in enterprises, vacant state property, as well as land plots.
The event was led by First Deputy Director of UzSAMA Nodirbek Khusanov, Head of the Samarkand region territorial department of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dilshod Musinov, Head of the Samarkand region territorial department of the UzSAMA Akrom Egamov, as well as heads of regional state agencies and attended by more than 300 entrepreneurs and investors.
In the introductory part of the event the participants were informed that in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.PD-70 dated 21 April 2025, the Privatisation Program for 2025 was approved. In accordance with the program, state shares of the 10 companies with state participation, 64 real estate objects, as well as land plots with an area of 730,2 hectares put up for public auction in the Samarkand region were presented to entrepreneurs and participants of the event.
N. Khusanov, speaking at the event, noted that in recent years our country has carried out large-scale reforms aimed at developing and supporting entrepreneurship, as well as reducing the share of the state in the economy. In particular, it was stressed that the relevant annex to the above-mentioned Decree approved a number of incentives and preferences for entrepreneurs in the areas of privatisation and leasing of state property (link to read the incentives).
In turn, it was explained to the participants of the event that in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No.432 of 17 July 2024, the procedure for privatisation of state real estate objects transferred to the participants who have completely fulfilled investment and social obligations on the territory of small industrial zones has been developed. It was also clarified that applications for privatisation should be submitted to the UzSAMA through the Directorate of Small Industrial Zones.
At the same time, the participants of ‘Roadshow’ were informed about the work done in Samarkand region for 2024, in particular, the territorial department of UzSAMA put 91 state assets on auction, of which 106 assets were sold for 224,6 billion soums with the condition of instalment payment. In addition, 2847 land plots with an area of 1260,2 hectares were put up for electronic online auctions for entrepreneurs and citizens, of which 1828 land plots with an area of 378,4 hectares were sold for 234,1 billion soums.
19 new state assets were put up for auction and 31 state assets were sold for the amount of 290,6 billion soums by the territorial department of UzSAMA for the past period of 2025.
Also, employees of UzSAMA explained in detail, both theoretically and practically, the procedures for opening a personal account on the electronic trading platform ‘E-auksion’, obtaining an electronic signature online and the rules for submitting application to participate in the auction.
At the end of the event, which was held at a high level and lively with questions and answers, a number of questions asked by the participants and media representatives were answered.
This event was previously held in Surkhandarya, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Jizzakh, Fergana, Andijan, Syrdarya, Tashkent regions and Republic of Karakalpakstan, today in Samarkand region, and further will be held in Kashkadarya and Namangan regions.
