Regular Roadshow for entrepreneurs and businessman was held in Tashkent region

In order to inform entrepreneurs and the broader public about the meaning and significance of the Privatization Program for 2025, approved by the relevant Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan, up to date in all regions of the country and today in Namangan region, the UzSAMA has organized and conducted “Roadshow” presentations of state assets subject to privatization, including state shares in enterprises, vacant state property, as well as land plots to be offered for sale.
Today's event was led by Deputy Director of UzSAMA Alisher Miraliyev, first deputy hokim of Namangan region Zukhriddin Bakhriddinov, Head of the Territorial Department of UzSAMA in Namangan region Bekzod Matmusayev, as well as heads of regional state agencies and attended by more than 150 entrepreneurs and investors.
In the introductory part of the event, the participants were presented the Privatization Program for 2025, within the framework of which in Namangan region it is envisaged to put on public auction state shares of the 8 companies with state participation 69 real estate objects, as well as land plots with an area of 274,4 hectares.
A. Miraliyev, speaking at the event, noted that in recent years our country has carried out large-scale reforms aimed at developing and supporting entrepreneurship, as well as reducing the share of the state in the economy. In particular, it was stressed that the relevant annex to the above-mentioned Decree approved a number of privileges and conveniences for entrepreneurs in the areas of privatisation and leasing of state property (link to read the benefits).
In turn, it was explained to the participants of the event that in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No.432 of 17 July 2024, the procedure for privatisation of state real estate objects transferred to the participants who have completely fulfilled investment and social obligations on the territory of small industrial zones has been developed. It was also clarified that applications for privatisation should be submitted to the UzSAMA through the Directorate of Small Industrial Zones.
At the same time, the participants of ‘Roadshow’ were informed about the work done in Namangan region for 2024, in particular, the territorial department of UzSAMA put 102 state assets on auction, of which 73 assets were sold for 95,1 billion soums with the condition of instalment payment. In addition, 4375 land plots with an area of 258,2 hectares were put up for electronic online auctions for entrepreneurs and citizens, of which 1525 land plots with an area of 113,0 hectares were sold for 52,0 billion soums.
42 new state assets were put up for auction and 25 state assets were sold for the amount of 19,3 billion soums by the territorial department of UzSAMA for the past period of 2025.
Also, employees of UzSAMA explained in detail, both theoretically and practically, the procedures for opening a personal account on the electronic trading platform ‘E-auksion’, obtaining an electronic signature online and the rules for submitting application to participate in the auction.
At the end of the event, which was held at a high level and lively with questions and answers, a number of questions asked by the participants and media representatives were answered.
