The Uzbek delegation achieved notable international recognition at the "Women in Tech® Global Summit," held in Osaka, Japan. Over three days, representatives from Uzbekistan's Ministry of Digital Technologies participated actively, presenting several significant initiatives.
Day One: Charting a Course for Innovation
On the opening day, the Uzbek delegation visited the World Expo 2025 site in Osaka. The Uzbek pavilion, which was presented alongside pavilions from the United States, Germany, France, and Japan, was prominently featured on the "Innovation Trail" curated by Nyla Beth Gawel. More than 100 delegates from over 15 countries explored Uzbekistan's culture and innovative technological approaches.

Day Two: International Recognition
The second day of the summit featured presentations by global experts covering topics such as technology, space exploration, fintech, and economic innovation. A highlight for the Uzbek delegation came when "Women in Tech® Uzbekistan" received the "Youth Engagement Award," reflecting the international community's appreciation for their dedicated work in empowering young people. This accolade underscores the growing prominence of women from Central Asia on the global technological stage.
Day Three: Advancing Towards a Global Technological Future
On the final day of the Summit, Kamola Sobirova, Advisor to the Minister of Digital Technologies, delivered a presentation outlining Uzbekistan's strategic efforts and projects to establish the country as a regional IT hub and increase women's active participation in the sector.
Uzbek women continue to assert their roles in shaping global technological advancements. The Ministry of Digital Technologies remains committed to fostering greater involvement of women in the IT field, unlocking their full potential and contributing to Uzbekistan’s growing international profile.
