Environmental damage exceeds four billion sums in Bostonliq district

Inspectors from the Department of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change of Tashkent Region conducted another ecological inspection raids.
During the raid in the Bostonliq District, a case of illegal extraction of sand and gravel mixture was uncovered in the coastal zone of the "Aksok Ota" River using heavy machinery, including an excavator and a MAN truck.
As a result, violations of the Laws "On Nature Protection" and "On Subsoil" were recorded, and environmental damage was estimated at 4,504,378,636 sums.
With the assistance of the Bostonliq District Department of Public Safety, the machinery involved has been temporarily impounded. The collected case materials have been submitted to the Bostonliq District Prosecutor’s Office.
