Ministry of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan

A special role is played by Green University — the first university in Central Asia focused on scientific solutions to environmental problems. It includes research institutes and colleges that train specialists in fields such as ecology, sustainable development management, environmental law, and digitalization in ecology. The university not only educates students but also actively engages in scientific projects and international initiatives.

Every year, the scale of environmental education continues to grow. Plans include introducing “eco corridors” in kindergartens, launching programs on the circular economy, and opening green technical schools in various regions. All of these are important steps toward shaping a new generation of citizens who not only understand the importance of environmental protection but are also ready to contribute to it.
