In an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle, reduce environmental pollution, and ease traffic congestion in major cities, Uzbekistan will once again hold its regular "Car-Free Day" campaign on Wednesday, June 25. The initiative will take place in Tashkent, Nukus, and all regional administrative centers across the country.

On this day, it is traditionally recommended that government officials, public employees and all citizens refrain from using private vehicles and instead opt for public transportation, walking, cycling, or other environmentally friendly modes of transport.
Such initiatives help reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere, lower noise levels in urban areas and foster a more respectful attitude toward the environment.
The monthly "Car-Free Day" is held in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 37 dated February 21, 2024, and takes place on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
Join the campaign and take a step toward cleaner air, a healthier lifestyle, and a more sustainable future!
