Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbay Sharipov received the Ambassador of Egypt Amira Fahmy, who is completing her diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

The Ambassador noted that her first ambassadorial activity began in Uzbekistan and expressed a special attitude towards our country and people. She also expressed her readiness to support any initiatives that contribute to the development of our country in her new position at UNESCO.
Expressing gratitude for such a high assessment, the Minister wished Amira Fahmy success in her future work and said that the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation is ready to further expand relations with Egypt.
Amira Fahmy has served as the Ambassador of Egypt to Uzbekistan since December 2020.
