On April 24, 2025, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Akram Aliyev, held a meeting with representatives of Landers Mining.

Landers Mining is a New York-based investment company specializing in mining projects, including the extraction of copper, lithium, nickel, and rare earth metals. Established in 2021, the company operates across Central Asia, North and South America, and Africa. It is actively involved in introducing modern exploration technologies and investing in the development of local talent, with a strong focus on creating infrastructure for sustainable development.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of geological exploration and mining. Landers Mining representatives expressed interest in launching exploration projects in Uzbekistan.

Particular attention was given to the adoption of advanced technologies in geological surveying, the digitalization of the mining sector, and the training of highly qualified personnel. In this regard, the parties explored the potential for organizing specialized training programs and facilitating knowledge exchange with leading international experts.

Following the discussions, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in the practical implementation of the agreements reached and expressed readiness to further expand cooperation.
