Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On April 30 of this year, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan with P. Althaus, CEO of the American investment company Cove Capital. The meeting served as a continuation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Ministry’s Working Group to Washington on April 8–9, 2025.

 

 Cove Capital is an investment firm specializing in geological exploration and the development of deposits of strategically important and rare earth minerals. The company is actively engaged in projects across North and South America, Australia, and Asia.

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation in the mining sector, with a focus on implementing investment projects related to the exploration and development of deposits containing strategically significant minerals. Special attention was given to attracting investment in the field of critical minerals, applying innovative technologies in geological exploration, and fostering the exchange of expertise with international specialists.

 

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in the practical implementation of the proposed projects.
