Due to the ongoing tension and increasing instability in the Middle East region, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan has launched an emergency support mechanism for entrepreneurs engaged in foreign economic activities in this direction.
The current geopolitical situation has a negative impact on logistics routes, causes disruptions in transit, delays in customs clearance, difficulties in conducting international payments, and other organizational complications. All of this creates additional risks and barriers for domestic exporters cooperating with countries in the Middle East.
In order to identify and resolve business challenges in a timely manner, the Ministry has launched a special section titled “Issues related to export to Middle Eastern countries” within its official Telegram bot — @miit_tashqisavdo_bot.
Through this section, exporters and entrepreneurs can submit online requests regarding:
-
logistics and delivery issues;
-
customs clearance delays;
-
transit restrictions;
-
difficulties in conducting international payments;
-
and other administrative or organizational obstacles arising in foreign trade activities.
Incoming appeals are processed promptly by relevant divisions of the Ministry, and if necessary, forwarded to the responsible agencies for immediate response.
In addition, a 24/7 Call Center has been established under the National Export Headquarters. All interested entrepreneurs can receive consultations, submit complaints, or request assistance by calling +998 71 238 52 52 at any time.
The Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan will continue to respond quickly to developments in the foreign economic environment, provide comprehensive support to exporters, reduce external risks, and ensure the stability of export activities.
