Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event focused on expanding co-operation in the production of technological metals, a strategically important raw material for such key sectors of the ‘green’ economy as renewable energy, electric vehicles and high-tech industry.

In addition, representatives of Uzbek Technological Metals Combine presented the investment projects being implemented.

In particular, information was provided on projects aimed at creating multi-stage value chains - from raw materials to finished products - within the framework of the programme for the development of critical minerals for industry for 2025-2026. An agreement was also reached to develop mutually beneficial proposals on financing mechanisms for these projects as soon as possible.

Innovative solutions were proposed in the field of processing technogenic waste, production of high value-added products and transfer of advanced technologies.
