Discussions Held on the Establishment of the Advanced Engineering School “GeoMetTex”

Minister of Mining Industry and Geology B. Islamov, Chairman of the Board of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex JSC A.Khursanov, and other officials met with the Rector of the National University of Science and Technology MISiS, Alevtina Chernikova.
The meeting featured an exchange of views on the key areas of activity of the advanced engineering school “GeoMetTex,” which is being established in partnership between the National University of Science and Technology MISiS and Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex JSC, in accordance with the agreement signed during the international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia.” The sides also discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in training qualified specialists for the industry.
It was specifically noted that the implementation of engineering projects in collaboration with sectoral higher education institutions (UGS, NSUMT) and MISiS will contribute to the development of the industrial sector.
