On 3 June 2025, the First Deputy Minister O. Nasritdinhodjaev and officials of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology held a meeting with a delegation headed by the Vice-Governor of the Chinese province of Shandong Tsong Xunji and representatives of Shandong Gold Group.
During the event, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in geology, metallurgy and mining, results of the Second Interregional Forum ‘Uzbekistan-China’ held in Samarkand, as well as promising investment projects.
In addition, the talks resulted in signing a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, the Bureau of Geological Exploration and Mineral Resources Development of Shandong Province and Shandong Gold Group.
