On 5 June 2025, a meeting took place between the Minister of Mining Industry and Geology, B. Islamov, senior officials of the Ministry, and the delegation headed by Olivier Le Peuch, CEO of Schlumberger Oil and Gas Technologies B.V.
During the meeting, issues related to further cooperation in the areas of drilling equipment, reservoir evaluation, production optimisation, digital technologies, and the professional development of specialists working in the industry were discussed.
In addition, views were exchanged on topics concerning oil and gas geology and exploration, hydrocarbon resources, as well as the activities carried out by Uzbekgeofizika JSC.
