Information and awareness-raising work on the Law ‘On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan’ is being carried out

The Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology and the State Geological Monitoring Service of the State Institution ‘Uzbekhydrogeology’ organise information and awareness-raising activities with the participation of public representatives aimed at bringing to the public and groundwater users the essence and content of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 1062 of 5 May 2025 ‘On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan’.
Representatives of local self-government bodies as well as staff of other organisations related to the sector take part in the events in cooperation with relevant agencies and organisations.
The participants are provided with information on amendments made to the legislation, rational use of groundwater, its protection, as well as effective mechanisms for groundwater monitoring.
