Perspectives on cooperation were discussed with World Bank representatives

The meeting was attended by Tatiana Proskuryakova, the World Bank's Regional Director for Central Asia, Deputy Ministers of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khurshed Mustafayev, Umid Abidkhadjaev, and Samandar Sadullayev, as well as other responsible representatives.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the ongoing reforms in our country, particularly the development of a green economy, expanding the use of green energy, increasing energy efficiency, and improving power transmission networks. They also deliberated on the prospects for cooperation in these areas and the implementation of programs for results to advance these initiatives.
During the discussions, views were exchanged on implementing transformative and extensive reforms in the heat supply sector, as well as establishing a stable heat supply system, expanding the use of heat pumps, and successful international experiences and effective projects in improving energy efficiency.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to develop and strengthen mutual cooperation ties and to conduct systematic and effective activities in implementing the designated tasks.
