New Agreements Signed in Washington

In accordance with the visit's agenda, meetings were held on April 7 with companies operating in the mining, hospitality, and food industries.
Companies were presented with specific investment proposals, along with the favorable business conditions established in Uzbekistan. The management of several companies praised the reforms in Uzbekistan, citing the successful experiences of American companies that have operated in our country for many years. They expressed a willingness to enhance cooperation.
Following the meetings, agreements were signed to cooperate in the field of critical minerals. These agreements encompass investments in the exploration and extraction of minerals, the construction of high-pressure grinding complexes (HPGR), the adoption of innovative technologies, the creation of added value for critical raw materials, and the advanced training of Uzbek specialists.
Additionally, the deadlines for implementing new projects in the tourism sector, specifically the construction of hotels, have also been agreed upon.
The agreements reached are supported by contracts. A responsible project manager is assigned to oversee each project.
