Uzbekistan–Malaysia Business Forum Held

At the opening ceremony of the event, Dato Sri King Lim, President of the Malaysia-Uzbekistan Business Council (MUBA), Jamshid Kuchkarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Fadillah bin Yusuf, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Water Transformation, delivered speeches on behalf of the Malaysian delegation.
The event focused on the prospects of socio-economic relations between the two countries, the open and favorable environment for investors in the country, and the conditions being created.
Additionally, the parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the fields of energy, trade, industry, infrastructure, and services.
During the main part of the event, representatives of various ministries and agencies gave presentations, providing information on reforms in the energy sector and cooperation projects with Malaysia, marketing aspects of bilateral trade relations, the advantages of Uzbekistan's investment climate, the country's economic potential, the legal framework for business relations, and other areas.
Furthermore, the forum served not only as a platform for official presentations but also as a venue for face-to-face dialogue (B2B) between Uzbek and Malaysian business circles. New ideas, proposals, and various agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation between entrepreneurs were discussed.
Additionally, a bilateral document exchange event was held within the framework of the Business Forum.
The Uzbekistan-Malaysia Business Forum has become an important platform for further deepening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, strengthening investment ties, and implementing mutually beneficial projects.
