On January 10, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a working meeting with Advisor on Economic Development, Good Governance and International Cooperation Suma Chakrabarti. Current activities and future steps to improve the effectiveness of socio-economic reforms within the framework of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy are considered. Particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of implementing the strategy in 2024, declared in our country as the Year of Support for Youth and Business. Issues of more effective use of internal reserves and strengthening cooperation with foreign partners in such areas as enhancing the attraction of foreign investment, creating broad opportunities for entrepreneurship and private property, developing science, innovation, the IT sector, and introducing “green” and digital technologies were discussed.
